Our team was contracted in 2011 to complete Rochford place Stage 7 for Lendlease and since then has completed an additional 8 stages including independent living units and the recreational centre.
The Rochford place retirement village is located in the thriving Ropes Crossing community in Sydney’s west and is the latest development for retirement living. The community consists of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom villas with a smart modern feel ensuring they accommodate to the needs of the residents.
Throughout the 9 stages, we adopted a unique approach to the construction of these units. The entire roof was constructed on the ground and then, using a crane, it was lifted into place on top of the wall frames of the unit which significantly reduced the risk of falls from height and increased efficiency.
